Our Power Platform Advisor, Microsoft MVP, Timo PertilĂ€ has a session at this yearâs event, Mastering canvas Power Apps. Canvas apps are often underestimated. You might think that they are just slow and ugly mobile applications built on top of SharePoint. But no. They offer much more. Past events
This year the 3rd European Power Platform Conference (EPPC) took place on June 11-13, in Brussels, Belgium. The EPPC is a significant Power Platform event that brings together the Microsoft Power Platform Community, featuring a brand new Dynamics 365 track, for 3 invaluable days of in-person learning, connections, and inspiration. The EPPC event delved into Microsoftâs Power Platform stack and offered a wealth of professional development opportunities.
Our Power Platform Advisor and Microsoft MVP, Antti Pajunen, had a session at the event about how to create a Power Platform governance framework for an organization. Every organization starts its Power Platform journey from an ungoverned wild-west of a platform. A properly planned approach to governing the Power Platform ensures organizations can increase their low-code maturity, win in low-code (and life), and empower their makers on a safe and secure platform.
On June 4-5, 2024, the Resco Next 2024 conference was celebrating its 10th edition in Vienna. The event brought together professionals to discuss the state of enterprise app development, examine current industry challenges and trends, and delved deeply into technical and business questions surrounding the creation of business applications. Antti also hosted a session on creating a Power Platform governance framework for organizations at this event.
Greetings from Girona, Spain đ
Itâs our tradition to embark on an annual trip to a different part of the world with the entire FF group. This year, we chose the city of Girona in Spain as the destination for our companyâs annual retreat, which offered two splendid days filled with innovation, culture, and community.
The first day began with an energetic Hackathon, where we split into smaller teams to innovate and create new solutions and concepts to bring to life with our customers. The second day allowed for free time and the chance to explore Gironaâs enchanting attractions. Some of us opted for a city tour, admiring the narrow alleys and colorful buildings of the historic city. Others visited the museum to delve into Cataloniaâs rich history and art, while a vineyard tour appealed to those eager to sample the regionâs exquisite wines and enjoy the picturesque landscapes.
Each activity provided a unique opportunity to experience the local culture. This excursion was not only a platform for collaborative work in a novel setting but also a pivotal moment for team development and the creation of lasting memories that go well beyond our professional lives. The Girona journey was a resounding success, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated đ«¶
