Forward Forever News - Issue #6

Forward Forever News - Issue #6

This month our team's blog posts have been featuring Power Automate from three very different angles:

  • Common business scenarios for generating PDF documents
  • Power BI report administration via a REST API
  • Building your own bot for a chat service

It is awesome to see how low-code tools democratize the use of modern cloud service APIs. Regardless of whether there's a readymade connector available or not, citizen developers can now combine various services together in creative ways. Sure, it does still require planning and effort, but Power Platform is dramatically expanding the pool of potential innovators by removing the requirement for writing custom code.

Greetings from sunny Porto!

2 years ago when Forward Forever was launched, the global pandemic made it challenging to arrange any team activities involving international travel. Now that the world is opening up, we finally had a chance to round up our whole crew and spend 3 days together in the amazing city of Porto, Portugal.

Many FF team members got their first sun tan of the season while exploring the Douro riverside, walking up & down the historic city center hills and enjoying fresh seafood - with a bit of port wine, of course. We love the local vibe so much that you can expect to see more Portuguese team members announced shortly!
